The flap is driven by an electrical motor, not vacuum. I had my patience tested. I'm negative. Current: 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland V8, 2009 Liberty Rocky Mt V6.
this started last winter. While driving a sensor kept going off saying fcw/acc not functioning. My remote start only works 1/100 times . My battery voltage keeps jumping from 10-16 volts. RoadiJeff. I have a 2018 High Altitude but it doesn't have that problem. I've heard about it on several forums. The common fix is to rotate the handle 180 degrees, or close to it, and it will stay running until full. It seems to be a problem with specific pumps, not the capless system on the Jeep.
