🐠 Guild Wars 1 Best Class

Zyk22 13 years ago #1. So I was thinking of playing a physical DPS character, but it doesn't look like there is one that fits my criteria. 1. Physical DPS. 2. No pets (I hate controlling them in ANY game, haven't tried this however) 3. Actually good; doesn't suck. I would try ranger with no pet, but from what I can see, that doesn't meet Map completion hinges on both movement speed and kill speed while in combat, so you may want to give Runes of Speed and the Stamina sigil a whirl, as well as dropping DA for Trickery 3-1-2 and going CS 2-2-1. Equip Assassin, Infiltrator and Agility signets. Nigh-infinite dodges and upgraded Swiftness (permanent budget superspeed) to move almost Thief with primarily Deadeye as the main reason. I am glad Anet finally added a class that fits my play-style. In all the games I play, I gravitate towards the stealth long range fighters ( Loki with Dex Syberis, Infiltrator in ME franchise, infiltrator PS2, and many more). A solid tank build can withstand almost any foe. Tanking is an "area denial" control -strategy in PvE in which a player deliberately exploits target fixation: that is, they draw-in the enemies’ attention (or “ aggro ”), and attempt to "ball them" with snares by making themself the sole focus of their attacks. Browse all gaming. Looking at the GW1 reddit, a very commonly asked questions is "what should my first class be?" or "what are the best beginner classes?". This video attempts to explain this. I want to roll a mesmer on gw1 as well, but is that viable to do solo? Im assuming warrior would be better, but warrior isnt really a favorite of mine. Also, what would be a good secondary class? You can do almost any profession solo, as you can take heroes and henchmen with you on missions. Easiness would be ranger -> necromancer -> elementalist. Ranger and necro are very similar to me in solo play pve. You can get a pet or minion on either class to act as a distraction/damage source and both classes are fairly tough and have decent health pools. Their high end play is quite different, but for just fiddling around in zones Guardian, Ranger or Necro for core would be my top picks, pretty much every core class can level pve solo tho. Any level 1 you make can go right to structure pvp with all skills unlocked, you can mess around in the lobby or play unranked matches to get a feel for any class, if you don’t like it delete.
